Dec 16, 2023:  Christmas in Cotter preparations are underway. An amazing number of volunteers started decorating Big Spring Park, and the Christmas lights are scheduled to begin by Thanksgiving. Santa will be arriving on December 16th at 5-7 pm at the Gazebo. Refreshments will be available at the Pavillion courtesy of the Cotter Saturday Club and generous donors. Plan to gather around the fire pits for S'mores and hot chocolate being served by the Nazarenko family and to be entertained by the Cotter School choir. We are especially thankful for Kammi Nazarenko who volunteered to organize and direct installation of the lights and to Linda Brazzeal for creating the beautiful wreaths and decor. The Cotter Fire Department Auxiliary has been assisting Santa with getting the toys ready for the big night. Christmas in Cotter is a true community effort! Feb 10, 2024:  Mark your calendar and save the date for the Cotter Fire Department Taco Night Auction Fundraiser at the Firehouse on February 10th, 2024. Plans are getting underway and details will be announced later.
