North Central Board of Realtors Awards Marcia Taylor Realtor of the Year

08/26/2020

On August 4th, 2020, it was announced that Marcia Taylor was selected REALTOR of the Year for the local North Central Board of REALTORS (NCBOR), a peer award based on criteria set by the National Association of REALTORS and includes service to the community, business accomplishments, service to the local, state and national REALTOR organizations, and adherence to the REALTOR spirit of honesty and fair play in all life experiences.

Marcia has been in the real estate industry since 2003 and is currently an Executive Broker for Century 21 LeMac in Mountain Home, Arkansas.  She has held several NCBOR offices over the last six years and is the 2020 NCBOR President.  The NCBOR committees she has been involved in are the Feed Our Children, Installation Breakfast, and Quarterly Meeting Speaker.

In an interview she stated the most important part of her job as a realtor has always been listening to her clients and understanding their specific needs and also educating her clients on the process of purchasing and/or selling property.

In addition to Marcia's real estate career, she has extensive community involvement in the Marion and Baxter County areas as member of the Baxter County Master Gardeners Club, Rotary Club, Cotter-Gassville Chamber of Commerce, Chair Person for the Cotter Tree Board/Tree City USA, and Volunteer Coordinator for the Chamber members for the White River Marathon for Kenya.

When asked her thoughts on winning NCBOR REALTOR of the Year, Marcia stated it is an awesome experience.  She has been inspired by so many other members, prior Realtor of the Year (R.O.Y.) winners in our area and other parts of the state.  She would like to thank everyone who made this possible including members of the Board, Broker Jewel Pendergrass, the Ozarks Team-John-Heather-Nita, Lauri Rottmayer the Association Executive for the previous 12 months, and to the R.O.Y. Committee.
