Nearly 600 runners and over 100 volunteers and staff converged over Denton Ferry Road for the 11th Annual White River Marathon for Kenya on Saturday, November 22, 2014.  Runners came from the four corners of the U.S. and everywhere in between, altogether representing 36 states, Puerto Rico and Ontario, Canada.... The 2013 Shawnee Supreme Boat Tournament turned out to be a huge success even though all involved had to battle the cold and snowy elements. Approximately 2,000 people gathered September 22, 2012 on the RM Ruthven Bridge in Cotter, Arkansas in support of Hunger Action Month for Bridge Bash 2012 sponsored by the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas.
